My Life Story: Day 12 by Justin Crombie

My Life Story
Day 12

by Justin Crombie

I got back quite late, and was very tired - which was obvious. Camilla apparently got back an hour or so after me, and Bod enjoyed being alone - he told me, I swear. I still couldn't get over the fact that I could be sponsored by an A-lister, if my drinks turn out to be a triumph.

When I got back, I went on the computer to see which movie Alan recently made to have an upcoming premier. I forget the name, but the premier is tomorrow, I can't believe I forgot to ask if I was allowed to attend, probably not as I'm a vampire - reasonable.

As I slept, I had a fascinating dream. My butler, was suddenly... a vampire. Sleeping in the day, working in the night. We did everything together. Camilla was a very interesting vampire - for a butler. We flew through the sky, watching the stars surrounding the moon, along with a few random loop-the-loops. We juggled mixology glasses, and various equipment all around the room, in a majestic rhythm. We danced to classical music with the apartment looking like a library, Bod howling away as if he was part of the orchestra, it was something that would've looked beautiful in slow motion.

I woke up, to find Camilla and Bod, as per usual, bonding. They really loved playing together, mainly tug of war. As I watched, I kept thinking about my dream, would Camilla want the chance of a lifetime? A butler would surely never turn down the offer to become a vampire. There have been many famous vampire butlers, too many to name, though.

There was actually nothing I had planned to do today, so if Camilla declined, it would've been one long and boring day. I looked around the apartment, thinking of what to do to pass the time, as I looked to the kitchen area, I remembered I was a pretty good cook - all of a sudden. I went over, and looked in the fridge, to find useless stuff. Camilla came over to refill Bod's food bowl.

We began to talk about how Bod's kind of changed our lives, we've had more fun ever since he entered our lives - especially her's. This is the first time I've had a dog, I had a rabbit once, but it ran away when it was let out this one time, and a part of a fence was broken at the bottom.

I told Camilla of my dream from earlier, which made her laugh for a bit, she thought about the idea, then asked me how it felt when I went through with it. I literally felt nothing - I'm a good liar.

Dream come true.

I heard the mail being delivered downstairs, and since there was nothing else to do besides wait for Camilla to turn into a supernatural, I had no choice but to go and get the mail.

I was saved. My day is going to be no longer boring. A game for my smartphone had arrived, which I ordered from the computer - hey, I don't tell you everything I do. The game is Llandros Rising, it's a space shooter that was on offer. You play as this guy called Llandros, and as you might have guessed, you shoot things in space. The game was so addicting, I found myself outside playing it.

I must ask you, what did I do wrong? I am a vampire, correct? I made the biggest error a vampire could make. I'm outside, playing a game. The game is not the problem, it's that I'm outside.

I passed out. Camilla looked out of the window, and noticed me on the side walk  She tried not to freak out as I roasted in the sun, and took me to the hospital. Little did she know, that upon her return to the apartment, the time had arrived for the transformation.

How long have I been out? I don't know. I was well enough to finally leave the hospital. I was told to not stay out in the sun for too long - I shouldn't have been out in the first place, but that was my fault.

I was in the hospital for a whole day, and I've only just left, after nearly another day.
